The arrival of the latter is also important. Anthropic recently introduced Claude’s computer tool, which is powered by 3.5 Sonnet. This capability allows users to ask the AI to complete a task on the device. Although this feature has not yet been rolled out to users, it is understandable why an AI company would need a dedicated app to make the feature usable.

Apart from this, users can also use the voice mode feature with desktop applications for Mac and Windows. More details about the apps, such as size, required permissions, and compatible versions, were not shared by the company.
