According to the report, at the company’s internal meeting held on October 29 at the end of last month, Google said that up to 25 percent of the software made by the company is used for coding. However, Pichai’s statement is shocking to software engineers around the world. Google made massive layoffs last year. Sundar Pichai held an internal meeting regarding the company’s third-quarter revenue. Meanwhile, Pichai told that last year the company merged its artificial intelligence research unit called DeepMind and Google Brain. After merging these two companies, one division was created, which the company called Google DeepMind. Google conducts all AI-related research within DeepMind.
