Samsung Speculation continues regarding the delay of the beta version of the new One UI 7 interface, in which several leaks have appeared regarding new features and visual changes. Samsung also recently launched an official community page, suggesting that this update may be coming soon.
The company has scheduled the Samsung Developer Conference (SDC) 2024 Korea on November 21, and hence, there is a high possibility that the first beta of One UI 7 will be released on the same date. The special thing is that this time One UI 7 may also include Apple’s popular notification summaries feature, which Samsung has called ‘AI Notification’.
Samsung’s new operating system
According to the leak, in this feature provided by Samsung, notifications can be shown smaller through artificial intelligence. This feature is currently only available in Korean, but it is expected to be rolled out to other languages as well in the future. This feature will currently only be available on the flagship Galaxy models, while it will not be available on the mid-range Galaxy A series.
In the new update to One UI 7, notifications and quick settings have been divided into separate drop-down lists, where notifications will appear on the left and quick settings on the right. Samsung emphasizes improving user experience with this new change. As with Apple, Samsung’s AI Notification feature will also display multiple alerts in summary form so users can get the most important information at a glance and save time.
AI based notification feature
This feature was also claimed to have been leaked by a reliable tipster named Ice Universe. He said that the beta version of One UI 7 will likely be released in mid-November. This new update from Samsung could provide a more fluid experience with AI-based notifications.
Samsung’s inclusion of these AI features in its devices shows that the company wants to provide new and advanced experiences to its users, so that users can get maximum convenience and save their time as well.
