Special feature like Google search will be available in WhatsApp. This feature is currently being tested for Meta’s instant messaging platform. This feature of the platform, which has over 200 crore active users, will allow users to search through images received within the app. This feature is introduced in WhatsApp specifically to prevent fake posts from being shared on the messaging platform. These days, fake posts are quickly shared on social media platforms.
Fake photos will be identified
The image search feature in WhatsApp was rolled out with the beta version 2.24.23.13 of the WhatsApp update. According to the latest report by WABetaInfo, users get a search icon for images they receive in messages, through which they can verify the image by searching for it on the web. This feature will work just like Google’s reverse image search tool. Not only this, even before the user sends the image, he will get the option to search for it on the web.
Android beta users open the app after downloading the latest update. Then, after selecting the image, tap on three dots, after which they will get the option to search the image on the web. In the near future, WhatsApp’s reverse image lookup tool could serve as a powerful weapon in stopping rumours.
Custom list

Through this feature, users will be able to keep their favorite conversations in one place so that there is no problem searching through their messages.
