The Madhya Pradesh government launched the Chief Minister’s Public Welfare Scheme in 2018, but the Congress government amended it and renamed the scheme to New Dawn in June 2019. However, after the Bharatiya Janata Party government came back to power, Honorable Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan reinstated the name Chief Minister’s Public Welfare Scheme in May 2020.

Funeral Assistance Scheme
Under the funeral assistance scheme – any family that is very poor and has a Samaj Card can benefit from this scheme up to ₹5000 due to any issues at home; you just need to have the Samaj Card.
Note – To receive benefits from the funeral assistance scheme, you should contact the village secretary or ward in-charge to obtain complete information, and you can benefit from this scheme. So far, millions of people have benefited from this scheme, and you can also avail yourself of it; for this, please meet with the village secretary or ward in-charge.
Education Promotion Scheme
Under the Education Promotion Program, all students who are pursuing graduate, polytechnic, ITI or any kind of diploma or want to enroll in courses will have their education fees waived under this program. This fee will be paid by the Madhya Pradesh government.
Note – To avail the benefits of this scheme, the parents of the student must have a Sahar card or be registered in the Sahar scheme. The student must submit his/her parents’ Sahar card to the school, college or institution on time, only then will he/she be able to avail the benefits of this scheme.
Anugrah Assistance Scheme
Under Anugrah Sahayata Yojana, if any member who is a Sambal card holder dies due to any problem, then his family members will be provided assistance of ₹ 200000. If any Sambal card holder dies due to an accident, then his family members will be provided financial assistance of ₹ 400000 and if any Sambal card holder becomes physically permanently disabled or handicapped, then assistance of ₹ 200000 will be provided. Also, if the Sambal card holder becomes partially disabled, then assistance of ₹ 100000 will be provided.
Note – To get the benefit of Anugrah Sahayata Yojana, you can apply by going to Gram Panchayat or Nagar Panchayat and following the guidelines, you will have to get your documents verified and after completing the further response by the Gram Panchayat or Nagar Panchayat, you will be provided benefits through Anugrah Sahayata Yojana.
Simple Electricity Bill Scheme
Under the Saral Bijli Bill Yojana, if any member of the family has a Sambal card, then the electricity bill of their family will be between ₹ 100 to ₹ 200 but it should not exceed 100 to 150 readings. For more information, you can contact the electricity department and get complete information.
Note – To avail the benefits of Saral Bijli Bill Yojana, you will have to go to the electricity department and get your name added under Saral Bijli Yojana by giving a photocopy of your Sambhal card. For this, you can go to the electricity department and get your name added in Saral Bijli Bill Yojana.
employment oriented training scheme
Under the employment oriented training scheme, employment will be provided to the educated people in the working class families as well as unemployed youth and they will be given training every year for self-employment.
Note – To avail the benefits of employment oriented training scheme, you can contact the labour office of your area or the secretary of the Gram Panchayat or the ward in-charge or the district panchayat office or the Nagar Panchayat or the Municipal Corporation etc. or you can contact the Sambhal customer care.
Outstanding electricity bill waiver scheme
The outstanding electricity bill waiver scheme is for such poor families who belong to the unorganized working class and are very poor and their financial condition is weak, which is totally unable to pay the electricity bill. For such poor families, the outstanding electricity bill waiver scheme has been implemented. Through this scheme, the working class family which is a Sambal card holder can be freed from paying its electricity bill.
Note – To avail the benefit of the outstanding electricity bill waiver scheme, you have to submit an application to the electricity department or you can avail the benefit of the outstanding electricity bill waiver scheme with the help of the village panchayat secretary and sarpanch or you can avail the benefit of the outstanding electricity bill waiver scheme by telling your problem on the CM helpline.
free medical maternity aid scheme
The free medical maternity assistance scheme is for those women who are daughters and daughters-in-law of working class families whose husbands have a Sambal card or who themselves have a monthly Sambal card. Such women are provided free maternity medical assistance. A total sum of ₹16000 is provided to women of working class families till delivery and medical checkup.
An amount of ₹4000 is provided on medical examination and an amount of ₹12000 is provided on delivery.
Note – To take advantage of this scheme, the pregnant woman has to register herself in the Anganwadi center, after which a card is made for the pregnant woman by the Anganwadi and the full details of the medical examination are written in the same card. After delivery, the woman has to submit the Sambal card in the delivery hospital. In this way, women from working families get ₹ 16000 from this scheme.
Equipment Subsidy Scheme for Advanced Business.
Equipment Subsidy Scheme for Advanced Business is for the farmers who want to buy agricultural equipment for farming and machinery etc. for advanced business. For this, Sambal cardholder farmers are given a discount of 10% on the purchase of agricultural equipment and a grant of ₹5000 is also given.
Note – To take advantage of the Equipment Subsidy Scheme for Advanced Business, you can go to the Agriculture Department and request to purchase agricultural equipment.
